He spent a long time on the cliff, gazing down the bottomless abyss, drinking fresh cold water from the bowl. The wind blew, thunder roared, lightning struck, the sun shone, the moon rose, but the wanderer remained absorbed in thought. Eventually rising above them, he opened up to the sun, moon, light, darkness, life, and death.

On one gloomy day a rainbow, rare in those parts, shone on the heavenly dome. The mist glittered and glowed mysteriously in the sunlight. The little droplets of water were so close. It all of a sudden occurred to him that the rainbow was coming out of the skull. So that was why the water tasted so pure and delicious.

The man got up and walked forward... There was nothing beneath his feet...
